ABOUT OUR HASH
 One Definition of Hash. The first definition of hash or hashish is one of the most potent cannabis products that originated in India. Now widely available around the world, causing the hash smoker to feel those effects of "change". The Other Definition of Hash. A culinary dish consisting of diced or chopped meat, potatoes and spices that are mixed together and cooked by themselves or with other ingredients such as onions. The name is derived from the French: hacher meaning "to chop". Canned corned beef hash became especially popular in countries such as Britain and France during and after the Second World War as rationing limited the availability of fresh meat. A common alternative is roast beef hash. We serve Corned Beef Hash, and Red Flannel Hash. Our hash doesn’t change you it just makes you full! Corned Beef Hash is made with corned beef, onions and potatoes. It has a saltier base because the corned beef is cured in a salt mixture. We cook the corned beef most of the day remove any extra fat, chop it mix it with potatoes and onions and put it on the grill, where it becomes crispy and very flavorful. Red Flannel Hash is made with beef brisket, or corned beef with the addition of beets. That’s why it is called red flannel hash because the beets stand out making it look like red flannel. Our red flannel hash is a combination of carrots, onions, potatoes and beets. The beef is roasted with the vegetables then we chop it and add roasted beets. We grill a nice portion and serve the hash with eggs. Corned Beef Hash and Red Flannel Hash are made right here in the inn kitchen. Nothing is added just the beef and the vegetables. This is a great way to eat beets!
